I have realized that if you want things to change you need to go out and change them. And if you want things to change and you do nothing to incite that change then you are a fool.

Waiting around for something good to happen is probably (lottery) the stupidest way you could possibly spend your life.

I am going to work on my scripted material again. Not because I think it will make money but because I like doing that, I like telling stories.
I can do reality crap to make money but I will feed my soul with creative projects. Time is now.
Stop fucking around the god clock is ticking.

The Supposed Demise of SuperHero Movies

As I finally got two minutes this sunday morning to actual sit down and read the paper I came across a huge picture of Thor on the front cover of the Arts& Leisure section of the NY Times.

The article was more of the same that I have been reading for the last years. Yes, Marvel is doing great but can they continue to do great? Yes superhero movies have done well lately but of course that cannot last.

There was actually another article on the next page about "Super" with raine wilson. 

Over and over I have read how super hero flix must be coming to an end. I ask Why? What Hollywood  and the main stream media can't understand is that if a movie has a good story, great characters and is original then it will be entertaining and that is what we go to the movies for. That is why I buy comics.

Now if Marvel and DC started putting out junk movies then yes they will fail but not because they are based on Superheros. 

I end this with - Green Lantern will suck. Thor will rock. Captain America i have no idea. 

One last note - The Avengers. I worry that Robert Downey Jr. will be sooooo much better then everyone else in the cast that he will steal the whole show and make them look like morons. But I digress.

reviews of the film

Here is a review of Boy Wonder from wickedchannel.com. Great review I thought, gave us a 7.5 out of 10.
So far I have gotten about 7 or 8 reviews of the film and they have been overwhelmingly positive.  I know that the first review that rips me is the one I will take to heart. "I knew it!! the film sucks!!"
It is sad that we can't accept praise for our own hard work but we are willing to let anyone put that work down.

Blog day 1

I don't have time to write a new script but I have time for this nonsense??? Procrastination is my arch enemy.

I have set up a screening of Boy Wonder at C2E2 in Chicago on March 19th. It is one of the biggest comic conventions out there and this will be our first real screening in front of the audience that I made this movie for, the comic book fan.

Lets hope it's not me and just some angry fan boy who is pissed that I used "Boy Wonder" as the title of the movie.
